In keeping pace with the ever modernising and advancing techniques, Dr Akshita has successfully treated completely edentulous patients as well as partially edentulous patients with various prosthesis using techniques as per the relevance of the case like Implant supported prosthesis, Removable partial dentures, Cast partial dentures, tooth and implant supported over dentures.
She has transformed not just the patients’s smile but his/her personality using prosthetic techniques like Laminates including composite and all ceramic laminates, full mouth rehabilitation, implant supported prosthesis as well as treated patients with obstructive sleep apnoea with mandibular advancement devices.
The diversity in the field of prosthetic dentistry is her driving force which compels her to strive for perfection in every aspect of patient therapy.
Her post graduation at Nair Hospital Dental College gave her an opportunity to work on patients coming from various strata of society with different needs and demands. She also has the experience of training undergraduate students as Assistant Professor at Government Dental College and Hospital, Mumbai, a reputed institute.
The ability to handle different types of patients and the success she has had in all such cases is due to the opportunities that were thrown at her by others of which she took full advantage, having treated distinguished patients like ex- chief minister of Maharashtra, various IAS officers and their family members so early in her career was a confidence booster. Such challenging experiences empowered her to strive for perfection, precision and clinical excellence.
